In January of 2009 my husband was diagnosed with stage 4b lung cancer. Not a good thing at all and thus the very sporadic posting as of the last eight months. He is undergoing chemo treatments and if you've never had an experience up close and personal with a chemo patient let me tell you that cooking for them is one mighty job since the chemo changes the way everything tastes to them. My biggest challenge has been finding ways to cook his food without using any type of metal because the metal cooking vessel leaches a metal taste into the food. Thank goodness for Visions cookware even though it is no longer in production I've been able to find several items in local thrift shops.
